Trader Joe’s Pimento Cheese Dip Reviews

Pimento Cheese Dip: 8/10

🚨NEW ITEM🚨 Trader Joe’s has pimento cheese dip every summer, and this one is brand new compared to years past! This pimento cheese dip is loaded with sharp cheddar shreds, has pickled pimentos mixed in, and delicious seasonings like garlic, onion, and cayenne (but I did not find it to be spicy at all). There were so many shreds of cheddar that I found this dip to be more of a spread consistency and was a little hard to dip things in because of how formed it became in the fridge. Heating it up a bit would definitely solve this problem! Compared to last year’s pimento dip, I prefer last year’s because it was creamier and I enjoyed the roasted pimentos a little more than the pickled ones. This dip was delicious with giant soft pretzels and would be so good on a sandwich too. Each container is $3.99.

Have you tried this yet? What did you think?

  1. I looked for it and didn’t see it in my store (though I feel like we always get new items a little late). Was it by the hummus and pesto and black bean dip etc, or over in the cheese section?

  2. Grew up in the south eating many different recipes in a three-state area. The best commercial brand I’ve ever had is Palmetto Cheese…w Jalapeños. Look forward to trying this one!
