Hold the Dairy Cones: 7/10
🚨NEW ITEM🚨 #traderjoes has an absolutely incredible selection of vegan and non dairy items. I know because I’ve tried almost all of them! 😂 I had high hopes for these new, adorable hold the dairy cones, but they didn’t quite live up to my expectations and I’ll tell you why. The ice cream itself was not rich and creamy like the vegan chocolate ice cream #traderjoes already carries (I love that one so much I buy it more than the one with dairy). The ice cream in these cones was a little airy, bland, and could definitely use more rich chocolatey flavor. I thought the hard chocolate would add a little more flavor, but I found the texture to be a little chalky. The cone itself was delicious and tasted just like the original Hold the Cones and had a tiny bit of chocolate at the bottom. If the ice cream was the same as the original vegan chocolate ice cream, these would’ve been so much better. Bonus: a serving size is 6 cones 😂Each box is $3.99.
