Trader Joe’s Grainless Cassava & Coconut Tortilla Chips Reviews

Grainless Cassava & Coconut Tortilla Chips: 8/10

If you’re looking for a gluten free chip, look no further. These chips are made out of a cassava flour and coconut with some seasoning to give them flavor. I really enjoyed these and would say they pretty much tasted like a normal chip with a hint of coconut and garlic flavor. They had a bit of a sweet taste, but were still overall savory. They’re also slightly thicker than a normal chip and would hold up great for nachos. I wish these had slightly more salt on them but you can always add more if you feel the same! It’s $2.99 for the bag.

Have you tried these yet? What’s your favorite chip at TJs?

  1. Hurray!! I am so EXCITED for these! Pretty much all of trader Joe’s chips are made with sunflower oil. My 6 year old is unfortunately allergic to it. I hope in the future they do more flavorful chips that don’t contain peanut oil or sunflower oil! Thanks for this review👏

  2. 10/10 always in the pantry – favorite of all (MANY) grain-free “tortilla” chips I’ve ever tried. Almost all others are too thin! I definitely grab at least 3 bags each time I visit. 😬
