Trader Joe’s Vegan Ranch Crunch Salad Reviews

Vegan Ranch Crunch Salad: 7.5/10

🚨NEW ITEM🚨 I’m not personally vegan, but I’m loving all these brand new vegan items that #Traderjoes has been rolling out lately! This salad has nicely chopped green and red cabbage, Romain lettuce, carrots, and green onions. I love a salad that has chopped, bite-size pieces of lettuce like this bag. The toppings include delicious crispy fried onions (I wish the onion chips tasted more like the onions in this salad) and roasted sunflower seeds that add a great crunch. The dressing was also pretty great, however I felt like it was slightly too tangy from the vinegar but still tasted almost identical to ranch. As a salad alone, I liked it but wasn’t blown away. After adding sliced chicken on top, I enjoyed it more as a quick lunch! Each bag is $2.99.

Have you tried this yet? What did you think?

  1. I didn’t think it tasted like ranch at all, but I liked the dressing. I wish they would have put the fried onions and sunflower seeds in separate bags. I don’t like sunflower seeds on salads so I picked them out 😂

  2. Bought it after your haul the other day! Had it for lunch yesterday, topped with grilled chicken, and really enjoyed it! I agree about the dressing and wish there was a liiiitle bit more included but that’s personal preference. Loved the crunch of the fried onions!

  3. I’m usually a huge fan of salad kits, but this one wasn’t it for me. I had it by itself without anything and it just didn’t taste great, but maybe I just need to add some things to it.
