Toscano Cheese Soaked in Rosé: 8/10
🚨NEW ITEM🚨 The Toscano Cheese section at Trader Joe’s is one of their best, most diverse sections in the store. I’m always happy to see another flavor hit the shelves especially another type of wine soaked Toscano. I was a little skeptical that this new rosé cheese would not taste too much different than the Chardonnay version, but I was happily surprised that it did! While it was still a fairly mild cheese, the slightly sweet Rosé flavor really shines through at the end. The rind is a beautiful, dusty rose color and holds the most flavor. I would happily pick this cheese up again to serve on my next charcuterie board with cherries and fig crackers, but would still have to say that the Syrah flavor is my favorite. It’s $9.99 per pound for this cheese.
Have you tried it yet? What’s your favorite Toscano?
