Strawberry Shortcake Sandwich Cookies: 6.5/10
🚨NEW ITEM🚨 I love when #Traderjoes comes out with variations on their best products, and the original “These Sprinkles Walk into a Sandwich Cookie” is one of my favorite treats! Strawberry is a tough flavor to nail in desserts because it can taste artificial easily and this strawberry flavor missed the mark for me. I liked the actual cookie which was a crumbly, butter cookie with little bits of dried strawberry in the cookie. A crumbly cookie isn’t always my first choice, but I liked how rich and buttery the cookie itself tasted and the studs of strawberries were slightly chewy and sweet. The filling, however, tasted too artificial. It was giving me strawberry fluoride vibes mixed with strawberry yogurt. I’m not sure if this was just my box, but the filling had melted out of one end of the cookie and in some cookies there was almost no filling at all (which wasn’t too big of a problem because the filing was my least favorite part haha). Compared to These Sprinkles Walk into a Sandwich Cookie, this new strawberry version is not nearly as good. It’s $2.99 for the cookies.

@traderjoesfoodreviews Oh man, I’m super hesitant to try these (tho I am curious about them cuz I love strawberry anything! Well, IF they get the strawberry flavor right.) BUT, and I don’t know if it was just my box, when I got the “These Sprinkles Walk Into A Sandwich Cookie” they were AWFUL. Literally hard as ROCKS…and dry and crumbly (and NOT the good crumbly!)😩 And the frosting had melted out of all of them and was all over the inside of the package! (Now, normally I wouldn’t mind that they were “messy” if they had tasted good..but they didnt!😩😭)
These are a 10/10 for me! Love them

0/10 for me 😢 Strawberry shortcake is my favorite dessert but these cookies ended up in the trash. Too much of an artificial flavor.
I think they would have been better on their own without the icing

They were good! Really sweet though.
Oh man I liked these. I can understand the comments on artificial flavor, but I think they’re tasty. The texture in the cookie with the strawberry pieces is amazing
