Salsa Verde: 7/10
Salsa Verde is made out of tomatillos and green chili along with jalapeños, onions, and garlic. It is very simple and verrrry mild. I typically prefer a spicier, more flavorful salsa, but I do like that this green salsa does not have vinegar in it as many do. It would be good dumped over chicken in a crockpot to make Verde pulled chicken or used to top an enchilada. Each jar is $1.99.
Have you tried it yet? What do you think?
It’s a perfect salsa over Trader Joe’s frozen tamales and side of scrambled eggs! Company always thinks it’s all homemade it’s so delicious! Asktheitaliangirl 👩🏻🍳
Pantry fave, when training I use it on eggs instead of cheese
Yes, it’s delish. Top of nachos, drench the burritos 👅
Love this stuff!!!
Every time I visit the US from Australia I bring back jars of it.
We put it in our chili, delicious!!
Tried this for enchilada chicken and it added great flavor and I appreciated that it wasn’t spicy👍🏽
My favorite!! I love this salsa 💃🏽
Always in our pantry! Very tasty.
This is so good! It’s also just cheap enough to have spare jars in the pantry, I’ll dump a jar in the crockpot to give carnitas some extra flavor.
@dee_lilah I buy this every time. I’ve put chicken and this in the crockpot 😍
Out this and the cubed pork loin in the instant pot 🤤 toss in a jalapeño or two for some added heat
Yes I made a pulled chicken with this and it was delicious
I like it because I don’t like spicy foods but some bland foods need a small kick. I just wish it was chunkier and less watery.

This with honey, lime, cumin and chicken breast in crockpot makes amazing tacos!

I add it to vegetable soup! Yummy!
@traderjoesfoodreviews I poured some over the green chicken enchiladas from TJs and it was 😋😋😋
I tried the one with hatch green chiles and it was not good on its own.
Love this for crockpot shredded chicken breast
