Trader Joe’s Pesto Chicken Wrap Reviews

Pesto Chicken Wrap: 5/10

On the next stop of trying #Traderjoes wraps, we have this pesto chicken wrap. Not much of a surprise here, but I wasn’t too impressed with this one and felt like it was extremely average. This spinach tortilla wrap is filled with pesto covered chicken, Parmesan cheese, and assorted veggies like yellow squash, zucchini, and roasted red peppers. I felt like the veggies were soggy and almost overpowered the wrap. Most of the time my main critique of TJ’s wraps is that they are soggy, but, even though there’s pesto and the potential to be too wet, this wrap somehow was exceedingly dry and definitely needed a side of sauce to add more pesto flavor and give life to the chicken. I tried this one warmed up since that usually helps these wraps, but found that it dried the wrap out even more and did not help with the lack of flavor. It’s $4.69 for this wrap.

Have you tried this yet? What did you think?

  1. I just had the chicken wrap with pesto vinaigrette (it doesn’t seem like a vinaigrette though. More like the vegan kale pesto but a little lighter I think) and it was AMAZING! I had half cold, half warm and it was even better warm! Highly recommend trying that one next
