Trader Joe’s New Zealand Salted Butter Reviews

New Zealand Salted Butter: 8/10

🚨NEW ITEM🚨 There are a few things that I think are worth paying more for in life, and good quality butter is moving to the top of that list. I have always bought the cheapest butter, and after trying this New Zealand Salted Butter, I’m never going back. This brand new butter is made with milk from grass fed cows, and just tastes so fresh and delicious. When it melts, it is gold! I’m sure you’re wondering: how does it compare to Kerrygold? After doing a side by side taste comparison, both Jacob and I preferred Kerrygold to this New Zealand butter. The New Zealand butter is way more subtle at first and the flavor comes at the end, whereas the Kerrygold is extremely rich and flavorful right off the bat and was creamier. This new #traderjoes butter is slightly cheaper at $3.29.

Have you tried it yet? What did you think?

  1. Don’t support the NZ cattle industry. They have the highest rates of colorectal cancer due to high levels of nitrates in their water systems linked to their cattle industry.

  2. I use “cheap” butter for baking/ anything that needs a large quantity, but my expensive/ Kerrygold for like, toast and bread and anything where I actually want to taste the butter, does that make sense? 😂
