Marinated Fresh Mozzarella Cheese: 8.5/10
I cannot believe it’s taken me this long to try these marinated mozzarella cheese balls! This mozzarella is covered in an oil that’s seasoned with “spices” and garlic. It doesn’t go into detail what these spices are, but whatever they are they are delicious. The oil alone is such a treat! I bought a fresh ciabatta baguette, warmed it up, and dipped it in the oil. So delicious! The mozzarella balls were incredible as well, but I have definitely tasted fresher and creamier mozzarella before. That is one reason this did not receive a perfect score. The other reason being that the oil was a blend of canola oil and olive oil 😭 I definitely wish it was all olive oil! This cheese was still delicious and was polished off in our household in just a couple days. Pick up this cheese for $5.49 and use the oil for warm bread and the mozzarella for caprese with balsamic glaze!
