Trader Joe’s Loaded Potatoes Reviews

Loaded Potatoes: 6/10

🚨NEW ITEM🚨 If you know me, you know I love potatoes! When I did Whole30 back in January, I ate at least a potato every day and we are always in charge of the potatoes for Thanksgiving every year! I had high hopes for this dish, but I found that the frozen potatoes didn’t cook as well as I was hoping and weren’t seasoned enough. These loaded potatoes are cubed potatoes smothered in a cheesy sauce and mixed with tomatoes, jalapeños, and ground beef. The sauce itself was the best part and had a mild kick to it, but these potatoes definitely needed more of it! The potatoes themselves tasted like they were not seasoned at all before being cooked and had a bit of an uncooked texture even after being in the oven for 35 minutes. This would make for a pretty good side dish if you want to put more energy into the main course, but I wouldn’t crave these loaded potatoes again. Each box is $3.99.

Have you tried this yet? What did you think?

  1. I had these last night and thought they were great. Cooked them in my air fryer in 20 min. I added some extra cheese on top. I topped it with a fried egg and green onions. Will add sour cream next time.
