Trader Joe’s Green Goddess Gouda Reviews

Green Goddess Gouda: 6/10

🚨NEW ITEM🚨 This Green Goddess Gouda, as a stand-alone cheese on a cheeseboard, would not be on the top of my list to pick up. I was beyond excited to try this unique cheese as you all know I am a BIG cheese lover, especially Gouda, and was slightly let down. The Gouda itself was very creamy and semi soft, but I didn’t enjoy eating this cheese on its own because of the pieces of crunchy herbs mixed throughout. It tasted sort of like sour cream and onion but less flavorful. I think this cheese has potential, but I couldn’t get past the overwhelming, zesty parsley. This Gouda would be much better melted on a burger or mixed in Mac and cheese or gnocchi, but was not my favorite on its own which is how I review items. It’s $7.99/lb.

Have you tried this yet? What did you think? Tell me your FAVORITE #traderjoes cheese that I should try next 😍🧀

  1. I used it to make Mac & Cheese and it was the creamiest most delicious Mac & cheese I’ve ever tasted. Now I can’t find the cheese at any of the TJs near me. I feel like it was only available for a month, if even 😔
