Dark Chocolate Covered Cherries: 5/10
Chocolate covered cherries always remind me of the holiday season! My grandpa used to give us a big box of assorted chocolate covered dried fruits and I remember the chocolate covered cherries were always my favorite. I love the contrast of the rich and creamy chocolate to the tart, sweet, chewy dried cherry. These #traderjoes chocolate cherries were not as good as I was expecting and I felt were a little average. The chocolate part was good, but the cherry was very dry. Because it was so dry it just didn’t have a lot of sweetness or flavor at all to it. While these weren’t horrible, I would like them better if the cherry was sweeter, less dry, and maybe if these were mixed in with an assortment of chocolate covered fruit. Each container is $4.99.
