Dairy Free American Style Slices: 2/10
🚨NEW ITEM🚨 After trying the dairy free cheddar slices and finding them inedible and fuzzy, I was really hoping these new American slices would be better! They aren’t as fuzzy as the cheddar slices, but I still did not enjoy them one bit. This dairy free cheese tasted wet and starchy and the main flavor I got was the fava bean protein. It did not taste like cheese to me at all, and it wasn’t any better warmed up. I did try and melt it and it did not melt well either. The texture of this reminded me almost of jicama where it just snaps in half as you fold it, but this cheese was soft and not crunchy. Each package is $4.29, and unfortunately, I will not be buying this again.

I bought this a few weeks ago and will not be buying again! I had to put it on the frying pan for it to melt because it did not melt on the hamburger patty I had. I definitely taste the starchiness too
Threw this product in the garbage. Taste and texture are off.
Haven’t found a dairy free cheese product that even comes close to the taste of cheese. If u have to try to convince yourself that it’s not “too bad”, well that’s curtains for me!
I consider myself a human garbage disposal, I’ll eat almost anything and I’m the opposite of picky. This was the first food I’ve had to spit out in over 20 years.

Wow! I’ve tried two vegan cheeses and I did not like them at all! You know who surprisedly has a good vegan cheese? Walmart! So random but it smells and taste like cheese! 🤣🤣🤣😮😮😮

I get these to melt really well. Love them, just find them on the saltier side, but I just accomodate that with whatever else I’m preparing with it.
