Dairy Free American Style Slices: 2/10
🚨NEW ITEM🚨 After trying the dairy free cheddar slices and finding them inedible and fuzzy, I was really hoping these new American slices would be better! They aren’t as fuzzy as the cheddar slices, but I still did not enjoy them one bit. This dairy free cheese tasted wet and starchy and the main flavor I got was the fava bean protein. It did not taste like cheese to me at all, and it wasn’t any better warmed up. I did try and melt it and it did not melt well either. The texture of this reminded me almost of jicama where it just snaps in half as you fold it, but this cheese was soft and not crunchy. Each package is $4.29, and unfortunately, I will not be buying this again.
