Trader Joe’s Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bites Reviews

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bites: 5/10

🍎NEW ITEM🍎 YAY! Another new fall item has hit the shelves! These brand new apple cinnamon oatmeal bites sounded delicious, but really didn’t do it for me. I found them in the frozen appetizer section at my store next to the Mac and cheese bites, and the outside tasted just like those savory Mac and cheese bites which was interesting. The oatmeal center was covered in breadcrumbs which didn’t add much flavor to the oatmeal. The breadcrumbs mixed with oatmeal also had me confused as to what meal I should eat these for haha. I made them in the air fryer so the outside got slightly crispy, but I found the texture of these bites to be overall soft and mushy. The oatmeal inside tasted pretty good, like apples and cinnamon, but was very buttery. These bites weren’t horrible, but nothing I would get again. Each bag was $3.99.

Have you tried these yet? What did you think?

  1. Okay so I ended up loving these…I think the package photo gets your hopes up of more of an apple texture, maybe like a crisp? But once I thought about it being an “oatmeal ball” it changed my thoughts and I really enjoyed them!

  2. Came to report that I was underwhelmed by these the first time, but I tried them again and tossed them in a little butter, sugar, and cinnamon halfway through the air fryer. They’re pretty good this time ☺️☺️
