Gorgonzola Gnocchi: 8.5/10
This Gorgonzola Gnocchi came highly requested for me to review, and I am so glad I picked up a bag on my last #traderjoes trip! To be honest, Gorgonzola isn’t my top choice of cheese, so I was worried I wouldn’t be a fan of this item. The Gorgonzola ended up being soo subtle and was not overpowering in this creamy, saucy, and delicious gnocchi. It was super easy to cook up on the stovetop and did not take long to whip up at all. I kept it on the stove a little longer than the bag directed because I wanted the sauce a little thicker. The texture of the gnocchi was amazing, like soft potato pillows of pasta with a slight firmness to them. This gnocchi would be incredible with truffle powder and shaved parm on top. We sautéed up mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, shallots, and garlic and mixed it all together with chicken on top (let me know if you want to see this recipe!) YUM! Each bag is $3.29.
Have you tried this yet? What’s your favorite gnocchi from Trader Joe’s?
my favorite gnocchi.
this is amazing with the trader joe’s black truffle seasoning mixed in!
Love these. We make this bag and the sweet potato gnocchi bag and then mix together. So good.
I actually didn’t like them because they didn’t have enough Gorgonzola ! Why would they call them Gorgonzola Gnocchi if it doesn’t taste like the main ingredient, which I love btw ..😢
I love adding some peas and lots of black pepper!

This is one of my favs!!
One of my favorites! If you let it simmer on low for a little longer than the instructions say- the sauce will thicken. I always do this. Also try it with the rosemary and olive oil Asiago cheese shredded on top. YUM!
Mix it with the marinara gnocchi! Amazing!
Making this tonight 😍
These were soooo gummy in texture I couldn’t even eat more than a couple bites. The cauli one is way better.
I needed more gnocchi so I ended up throwing some of my cauliflower gnocchi in with them towards the end of cooking so they didn’t get soggy and they were so good!!!!
I agree that the blue cheese is very subtle. My daughter loved them and she hates blue cheese.
Mix it with the kettle cooked chicken soup and it taste like chicken and dumplings. My kids devoured it! 👏

My Italian teacher back in the day recommended this. Said it was close to authentic. I think it makes an easy quick meal paired with a salad.👍🏻
I had these when I was a child
I mix 1-2 bags of TJs Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina with one of the Gorgonzola gnocchi and find that it’s better then either bag by itself
ok I scrolled all the way back to this post so I can ask.. has it been discontinued?!?!? it wasn’t at my TJs the other day and I about cried
