Trader Joe’s Vegetable Panang Curry Reviews

Vegetable Panang Curry: 9/10

Trader Joe’s frozen Asian dishes always surprise me with how amazing they are! Every time I try a new dish, I cannot believe it came from the frozen section and not my favorite takeout spot. This Vegetable Panang Curry is SO delicious and has become one of my favorite frozen meals from Trader Joe’s. I love how creamy and flavorful this dish is – it’s a great, quick, easy to prepare vegetarian meal. The warm curry sauce is so comforting and tastes like coconut cream and Thai chili. After pouring the curry sauce soaked veggies over the fluffy jasmine rice, you’ve got a delicious meal that you really won’t believe was frozen! The meal is $2.99.

Have you tried it yet? What do you think?

  1. Whoa. 9 out of 10 is pretty ridiculous for this dish. The curry is lacking majorly in flavor and the veggies taste weird. The rice overcooks way before the ice melts in the curry while microwaving. This dish should get a 3 out of 10.

  2. I get this and a package of the coconut chicken curry that is not frozen… In the vegetable Department. I microwave them together for 7 minutes. Then I Cut up the chicken, mix the two sauces together and put it over the rice. Makes a hearty meal for two. Sometimes I cook an extra bag of brown rice and then it makes for lunch the next day. I like to have it watermelon cut up.
