Truffle Hot Sauce with Black Truffles: 6/10
🚨NEW ITEM🚨 I am a hot sauce and truffle lover so I was VERY excited when I first saw this product hit the shelves! It’s a thicker hot sauce with Chile peppers, black truffle base, apple cider vinegar and honey. This hot sauce has a strong truffle smell and tastes fairly spicy when tried on its own but when I added it to other products, the main taste I was getting was the sweetness! The sugar, honey, and apple cider vinegar really seemed to come through with this sauce, and it was almost too sweet for my liking. I used it in Mac and cheese, chili and on my morning egg sandwich. At $7.99 a bottle, I probably would pass on this one in the future unless they made it less sweet and more HOT.

Put this on my bacon egg & cheese this morning and was so sad. The sauce is weirdly sweet!

@traderjoesfoodreviews I made wings tonight in the air fryer and tossed my wings in this at the end and they were REALLY good. The sweetness of the sauce + the heat in my spices on the wings paired well.
I wanted to like this more 🙁

Yuck, I tried this and just threw it away. I put it on popcorn and it ruined it! Save your $$$. I bought this before I saw your review. Oh well.

Sooo I accidentally bought this on a quick shopping trip thinking it was Buffalo sauce! 😂 I was surprised to find out it wasn’t what I thought it was. 👀 I didn’t like the smell but I think when I find the right things to put it on it’ll be good!
Lol I feel like I bought this without looking at the price. I wanted to add it to a breaded chicken sandwich with like spring greens. I hope it does what I want it to do then lol.
