Trader Joe’s Spicy Pumpkin Samosas Reviews: 6/10

I was so excited to try this pumpkin cheesecake again this year because cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts, but sadly, it did not live up to my expectations. This cheesecake was incredibly average and was lacking the richness and tartness that cheesecake typically has. Also, it was hard to tell that it was pumpkin flavored and it was pretty bland. The crust of the cheesecake was the same texture as the actual cheesecake making the texture blur together. I still finished my slice, but for $6.99, I would much rather bake a homemade cheesecake at home than purchase this again. A lot of you suggested I try the NYC Cheesecake! Is that any better?

Have you tried this cheesecake yet? What did you think? (I am not affiliated with Trader Joe’s)

  1. As a massive trader Joe’s dessert fan I can attest to the fact that there are very few products that Trader Joe’s just can’t get right. But I can tell you with absolute certainty that every single cheesecake TJ’s has is garbage. Don’t even bother with the ny style one because it’s terrible as well. Occasionally I’ll get one hoping it’s better then I remember but it never is and I end up trashing it

  2. I have to agree about the pumpkin cheesecake … it was alright just kinda bland, didn’t have enough pumpkin flavor and the crust was so soft it literally was the texture of the actual cake

  3. I FEEL THE SAME. I only bought it because the ladies in front of me at the register was “raving” about it, even the check out lady. I was disappointed and thought I forgot to add ingredients to make it better

  4. I skipped this one after all of us agreed the Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake was lackluster… 🥺 I have not tried the NY Cheesecake, but I think I will pass. I had high hopes for the cheesecakes!

  5. Believe it or not, the cheese-less cheesecake (2 single serving cheesecakes) is actually amazing. Got it since the hubby is lactose intolerant, but I ended up eating the whole package. Oops.
