Trader Joe’s Stroopwafel Reviews

Stroopwafel: 8.5/10

❄️SEASONAL ITEM❄️ With all of the peppermint and chocolate Christmas flavored treats filling up the shelves (and my pantry) it’s nice to have a slightly different sweet snack and these Stroopwafels are a great option. These are Dutch caramel waffle cookies that are crunchy on the outside but chewy on the inside, a great texture combination. They have a rich caramel taste and taste slightly like a very chewy waffle cone but sweeter, The tin suggests adding these cookies to a hot beverage, so I topped my hot cocoa with one and that was a delicious idea. When warmed, they break apart easily and you can see the melted caramel inside. This is a very cute package and would be great as a stocking stuffer for your stroopwafel loving family member. It’s $2.99 for the tin.

Have you tried them yet? What did you think?

  1. These are delicious and i believe they are made in The Netherlands. My mother in law is Dutch…she buys like twenty cans to give as gifts. They are a very nice and affordable gift. Reusable tin.
