Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Bagels Reviews

Pumpkin Bagels: 5/10

Thankfully, my finger is starting to feel slightly better after slicing it while cutting a pumpkin bagel last week and having to get stitches 😭 These aren’t even my favorite bagels to eat, I just get so excited for the pumpkin cream cheese because it is SO good and I need a bagel vehicle for it 😂 But every year I’m reminded why I buy my bagels elsewhere. These bagels (and all the TJ’s bagels I’ve tried so far) are incredibly subpar. I could barely taste any pumpkin, and the bagel itself tastes like something you’d find on the shelf at your local grocery store. The texture of these bagels is kind of dry as well. They were lacking the fluffiness inside that a good bagel has. I finished the bag, but loaded each bagel with lots of pumpkin cream cheese, pumpkin butter, and cinnamon bun spread. It is $2.49 for 6 bagels.

Have you tried these yet? What did you think? (I am not affiliated with Trader Joe’s)

  1. Tonight I put together a fall basket of TJ goods to take to my vet’s office tomorrow morning. I checked and rechecked your insta the entire time I was there, making sure I wasn’t getting anything subpar 😁 I have lost count of how many times I’ve taken my two dogs in for tests and procedures this year, and they are so overworked and under appreciated right now. They deserve the good stuff, so thanks for your inadvertent help 😄

  2. Totally agree. No pumpkin flavor and the bagel texture is just okay. Was burned by these bagels last year wasn’t going to make that mistake again. Hope your finger feels better soon!
