Nori Komi Furikake: 7.5/10
This seasoning is a unique blend of sesame seeds, seaweed, salt, and kelp powder. It tastes delicious on popcorn, sweet potato fries, udon noodles, or roll your sushi in it for a nice crunch. I would reach for this seasoning for special meals where I know it would compliment the flavors of the meal because it is so unique and distinct! It is $2.49 for a bottle.
I love that Trader Joe’s carries such diverse types of seasonings and foods. I’m looking forward to trying this more ways! What’s your favorite way to eat this Japanese seasoning?

I’ve been putting this on the kale gnocchi and adding in chicken. It is fantastic
I found it to be a bit too heavy on the nori to be used all the time. It would be good with ahi tuna or a poke bowl.
What did you do with it? I had Korean chicken wings today that were dusted with furikake!
I found the flavor to be barely there, all I can taste is the sesame seeds. Not bad enough to return, but probably wouldn’t buy again 🙃

This type of seasoning good on plain rice like it’s shown on the jar. Sprinkle a little to give your rice some flavour… better than putting soy sauce on rice like I’ve seen people do 😣
