Meyer Lemon Cake Mix: 8/10
🍋SEASONAL🍋 Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms out there! 💕 Lemon cake is my mom’s favorite, so I thought today would be the perfect day to review this seasonal item! This product is a simple and easy baking mix with an icing mix also included in the box. It takes about 5 minutes to prep and then 50 minutes to bake and it turns into a nice, delicious lemon dessert. I love how easy it was to whip up! I would say this had more of a lemon bread texture than cake, but was still moist and delicious. Sometimes lemon flavored desserts can be too sweet or too lemon-y but I feel like this cake was neither of those. I do wish the icing was a little more like the Starbucks lemon loaf icing as it was a little basic and tasted like a simple powder sugar icing, but I liked this one much more than the blood orange cake mix. It’s $3.29 for the box.

Mix icing mix plus cream cheese and a bit of lemons curd for a thicker, delicious frosting 😉

I like both cakes. I got some floral extracts… makes a difference. 🤷♀️ Definitely not a baker but I grew up in a 3rd world town so I can really change flavors.

I made it over the weekend and wow!!! Super moist and delicious. I don’t like sweet sugary pastry’s but the frosting was addictive. Tart and lemony 🍋
My favorite- hoarded 3 boxes (so far😉) this year. I’ve never used the icing, but add cherries and shredded coconut to make it more interesting.
Oh this is one of my fav TJ items! 10/10 for me and I am stocking up this summer 😍

Omg it’s amazing I put some maple syrup on the icing and it added that little flavor to take it to over the top. 🙌🔥
Have you ever tried the truffle brownie mix? Just picked some up and have never heard anything about it!
This smelled amazing while it was cooking, but the cake was so dense and didn’t rise at all. The flavor was just ok & I definitely wouldn’t repurchase it. I made the icing with lemon juice and that was probably the best part.
