Meyer Lemon Cake Mix: 8/10
🍋SEASONAL🍋 Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms out there! 💕 Lemon cake is my mom’s favorite, so I thought today would be the perfect day to review this seasonal item! This product is a simple and easy baking mix with an icing mix also included in the box. It takes about 5 minutes to prep and then 50 minutes to bake and it turns into a nice, delicious lemon dessert. I love how easy it was to whip up! I would say this had more of a lemon bread texture than cake, but was still moist and delicious. Sometimes lemon flavored desserts can be too sweet or too lemon-y but I feel like this cake was neither of those. I do wish the icing was a little more like the Starbucks lemon loaf icing as it was a little basic and tasted like a simple powder sugar icing, but I liked this one much more than the blood orange cake mix. It’s $3.29 for the box.
