🚨NEW ITEM🚨 I was so excited to see #traderjoes come out with more macarons, especially holiday flavors. Trader Joe’s does macarons well, like really well! The cookies are baked to perfection and the filling is always delicious. However, these weren’t my favorite flavors which really shocked me because I was expecting to LOVE them. My least favorite which brings the rating down low was the chocolate peppermint which honestly tasted like toothpaste. My absolute favorite was the cappuccino. The flavor was spot on to a creamy, frothy coffee drink and I wish there were more of them in the box! The gingerbread tasted pretty heavy on the spice, but was still good. Spiced caramel tasted exactly like the gingerbread but with caramel filling and the pear cinnamon tasted like Apple Jacks. I thought I would like the chocolate raspberry the best, but it tasted strangely like a lollipop. I enjoyed all of them fine, but none (except cappuccino) was as good as the original assortment of macarons or the chocolate and vanilla. Each box is $4.99.
