Trader Joe’s Kale Gnocchi Reviews

Kale Gnocchi: 6.5/10

I was super excited to finally try kale gnocchi! Compared to cauliflower gnocchi, I much prefer the cauliflower. To cook, I pan fried in salted ghee until it was crispy on the outside. It was definitely not as mushy as cauliflower gnocchi can be sometimes, but I found the kale gnocchi to be way too dense and dry in the middle. The flavor is decent, but it strangely tasted like matcha to me. By itself, I rate it a 6.5, however, I think you can spice it up a lot with a delicious sauce, tomatoes, and some mozzarella to make it taste delicious and be a more complete meal. It is $2.69 for a bag. Personally, I’m going to stick with my cauliflower gnocchi.

Have you tried it yet? What do you think?

  1. I Liked it better than the cauliflower gnocchi.. one time I cooked it with olive oil and garlic and salt and I liked it, another time I cooked it with the sweet potato gnocchi, both times I enjoyed it

  2. Just found your account and I’m so happy I did! I air fried these and it make a world of a difference. Mixed them up over lemon brussel shavings or rice with some shredded chicken, chili onion crunch, a dollop of burrata, and slivered almonds (optional) 😋
