Trader Joe’s Jicama Wraps Reviews

Jicama Wraps: 6/10

The only ingredient in these wraps is jicama. Jicama is a cross between a water chestnut and an apple which makes these wraps a little crunchy and verrrry wet. The moisture that this vegetable carries made it not very enjoyable in dishes. While I do like #jicama as a vegetable, but don’t necessarily want it as my taco wrap. If I were looking for an alternative to a tortilla, my first choice would be a delicious lettuce wrap. I will use these grated up in salads and roasted with other sheet pan veggies. I think these are a great option if you have dietary restrictions, but personally I will not buy again. Each pack is $3.99.

Have you tried these yet? What do you think?

  1. I just bought these and I actually fry them up in a pan on each side for a bit and find that they’re not wet at all when I do this! I’ve been using them for my egg tacos in the morning for a low carb option!
