Everything but the Elote: 6/10
The Elote Corn Dippers are one of my FAVORITE snacks from Trader Joe’s, so I was so excited when I heard they were going to come out with this Everything but the Elote seasoning! The bar was set very high for me, as I figured the seasoning would taste exactly like the seasoning on the chips. While it is similar, it doesn’t quite taste like the delicious seasoning I love so much. It is heavy on the cumin and chipotle. I get a very strong smoky chipotle taste and aftertaste that I wasn’t a humongous fan of and don’t taste when I eat the chips. This seasoning would’ve been better with the cumin left out. I’ll use this in taco meat, on corn on the cob, and potatoes. It is $2.49.
