Cookie Butter Beer: 7.5/10
🚨New item🚨 #traderjoes first mentioned this beer in a podcast episode a couple months ago, and it was definitely one of the things I was looking forward to most in 2020. I have to say, I was slightly confused when I first tasted this beer because it didn’t taste like #cookiebutter to me! I thought it had a good vanilla, coconut taste that I would’ve been happy ordering at a brewery as a speciality beer, but not a cookie butter taste. The bottle says it pairs well with a cookie butter treat and so I figured I had to have a couple spoonfuls of the normal cookie butter spread and had a few sips of this beer to test that out! 😂 Overall, I did enjoy this beer but it was too sweet for a regular beer for me and I really thought it would taste more like cookie butter. This is more of a dessert beer and it’s true what they say, it does smell a lot like a vanilla winter candle 😂 It’s a little pricey at $5.99 a bottle.

I tried it and love it. I am not a beer connoisseur, but I thought it was good, not too heavy and definitely picked up the cookie butter taste
Any nutrition facts? So I can calculate my points in weight watchers, I’d like to try this if it is a sweet beer!

Ok I completely agree with the rating here. I might even go a bit lower just coz it was absolutely not a pleasant taste (or smell for a beer at least) It really depends on what you pair it with…I would definitely not do desserts because as @traderjoesfoodreviews says, it’s pretty sweet…..hello diabetes🙌!!!! I was dyyyyying to try this one out for a while now and finally got my hands on it at a local store. Not impressed at all and rather sad to see that it didn’t make the cut given how lovely all the things cookie butter usually are.
