Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Pizza Crusts Reviews

Cauliflower Pizza Crusts: 7.5/10

🚨NEW ITEM🚨 Last year #traderjoes came out with Cauliflower Thins and I loved them for sandwiches and mini pizzas. This summer, these brand new Cauliflower Pizza Crusts hit the shelves in the refrigerated section! They are made of the same ingredients as the thins: grated cauliflower, Parmesan cheese, egg, and yeast and then have added dried herbs like basil, oregano, and garlic. That’s it! The added cheese and yeast gave them a delicious cheesy and robust flavor. They tasted almost like a cheese egg soufflé to me with a thinner and more bread like texture. While I really enjoyed the taste, they get soggy very easily. I made a pizza both on a sheet pan and a cast iron, and both times, the center of the pizza was a soggy mess. I even tried cooking the crust before adding ingredients and again after and it was still too soggy! These are a great substitute for pizza dough if you are looking for a GF and lower carb option. To me, while I enjoyed the taste and cheesiness of these crusts, it didn’t resemble pizza enough for me to get it in place of dough. Each package of 2 pizza crusts is $4.99.

Have you tried these yet? What do you think?

  1. Definitely air fry the crust BEFORE toppings . First time I put it all in the air fryer and it was a soggy mess still and fell apart. Air fry the crust first to get crispy, add toppings, air fry again! Not my favorite cauli crust…

  2. We tried last weekend, did one in the oven and one in the Traeger. Same for both, soggy and limp! Not really impressed. We did try their frozen wood fired crusts as well, did one on the traeger and one in the oven. The traeger one was AMAZING!!! The oven was good, but the Traeger one tasted like a true wood fired pizza! 🙌

  3. I just made one for the first time. I used a pizza stone and it was still a little soggy in the middle. Everything stayed together though and wasn’t messy. I loved the taste! Next time I’m gonna try putting it the oven for a few minutes by itself before putting sauce, cheese and toppings on to see if there’s any difference.

  4. Had these pizza crusts tonight. The crust was very tasty but I do agree that the middle is a little soggy but it was still good. I put fresh tomatoes, Italian sausage and TJ’s cheese alternative. I also used fresh basil, thyme and rosemary from TJ’s. It was very good. Will do this again.
