Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese Bites: 7/10
🍂NEW ITEM🍂 I may be alone in this, but I do not like breadcrumbs in my Mac and cheese. I think it adds absolutely nothing at all and makes the whole dish more bland then it needs to be. These new butternut squash Mac and cheese bites were fun to eat, and while they were more flavorful than the original Mac and cheese bites which I find to be extremely bland, there could’ve been more flavor in these. The Mac and cheese filling tasted exactly like the butternut squash Mac and cheese in the frozen section, just a different shaped noodle. It was heavy on the sage and nutmeg which I liked and was very cheesy! The breadcrumb coating could’ve been seasoned a little better. These tasted like they needed a dipping sauce. Maybe the new pumpkin Alfredo sauce? Each box is $3.99.
