Trader Joe’s Atlantic Salmon with Lemon Herb Butter Reviews

Atlantic Salmon with Lemon Herb Butter: 8/10

🚨NEW ITEM🚨 I love when #traderjoes comes out with new, quick, healthy meals. Salmon is one of my favorite weeknight dinners so I could not wait to try this salmon! It is found in the frozen section and each package contains one boneless, skin-on salmon fillet topped with a delicious butter mixed with lemon zest, parsley, chives, salt and pepper. I loved the butter and how bright and tangy it was from the lemon. It paired nicely on top of the salmon with the herbs mixed in. My preference is always fresh salmon, and I could taste that this was frozen, but I really enjoyed the convenience of this meal because fresh salmon goes bad so quick and requires planning ahead. This will definitely be an item I buy again to keep in my freezer for when I don’t know what to have for dinner. It would be amazing mixed into a salad! Each fillet is $4.99.

Have you tried this yet? What did you think?

  1. I wish TJs didn’t have so much farmed salmon. Wild salmon is so much better and they don’t need to add color to it to make it look edible. (Ingredients on bag say they added color). After seeing a photo of farmed salmon before the added coloring I’ve never bought it again. Only wild salmon.

  2. I keep a bunch of these in my freezer for a quick delicious meal. Once it defrosts I fully spread the butter over the top of the filet and pat the sides dry before cooking.
