Trader Joe’s Apple Cranberry Tart Reviews

Apple Cranberry Tart: 6/10

🍎SEASONAL🍎 I was initially drawn to these tarts on the bakery shelf because the mix of cranberry and apple sounded so delicious for a little thanksgiving time dessert! In my mind, I think of fresh treats and tarts being better than frozen, but these ended up being not super special for me. They are stuffed with apple and cranberry filling with a flaky crust to hold it all in. It reminds me a lot of a pie mixed with a fruity danish. I thought this dessert was pretty good, but it didn’t stand out for me. I was expecting these tarts to be bright and sweet, but there was too much clove and nutmeg. I liked that it wasn’t overly sweet and thought the crust was really good but with all the other amazing seasonal treats to compare against, this one is kind of average. It’s $4.99 for these tarts.

Have you tried them yet? What’s your favorite fall baked good from Trader Joe’s? (I am not affiliated with Trader Joe’s)

  1. It’s nice we each have favorites because these are my new ones!!!!! I crave them so I’ll be eating all I can while they are available. I loved the chunks of apples and the crust.
