Southern Peach Crisp Ice Cream: 7/10
🚨NEW ITEM🚨 Growing up in Colorado, peaches always meant summer. If you’ve never had Palisade peaches, they are worth the trip out here! Best peaches I’ve ever had in my life. I had extremely high hopes for this new #traderjoes ice cream and was hoping it would taste like delicious peach cobbler. The ice cream base itself is plain sweet cream, which was creamy and good, but nothing special. The peach part comes into play in this ice cream as a very thin peach swirl running throughout the pint. Even when I got a bit of the peach swirl in my bite, I had to realllly concentrate to try to taste the peach flavor. Not what I would expect when picking up an ice cream with a name like Southern Peach Crisp! The crisp part of the ice cream were crunchy, buttery oat crisps that tasted like what you would find on top of an actual peach crisp. These bits were delicious, but there were hardly enough! I found like 4 in the whole pint 😅 While this ice cream was good, it was nothing mind blowing and didn’t live up to the peach ice cream I was hoping for. Each pint is $2.99.

Exactly my thoughts and about the same thoughts as like a dozen other people I’ve known that tried it. I know TJs does taste tests while developing new products and why they thought this was enough peach is beyond me. It needs peach flavor bad.
It was a miss for me. I wanted to love it, but it lacked flavor.

OK for an inexpensive peach fix, but the bar is set high if you have had Jeni’s peach ice cream. However, I did make a TJ pint haul yesterday and loved the new cold brew coffee/boba flavor!
I eat this with the salted caramel sauce.
I really enjoyed it! I got a good amount of crumble and swirl. Though agree that the peach flavor is too subtle. But the base is delicious. I actually repurchased it. I also bought some peaches so might try to boost the peach flavor. Hope this new carton doesn’t disappoint.
Oh man..I hadnt seen this item yet and was so excited when I saw the post! Then I read the review..😩😩 Now usually I’ll still try something,so I can form my own opinion..but I’m a serious ice cream lover and my biggest pet peeve is when an ice cream claims a certain special flavor…but the base is just plain vanilla or sweet cream!! So I’ll be passing on this! Maybe if they did an actual PEACH ice cream base with a peach swirl and crisp pieces throughout!🤤
I agree very disappointing. Very sweet and could not taste the peach very well. I give it 3/10.
I will say the quality control on ice cream is rough. In my pint I had a buttery oat in every bite. I have also purchased my favorite strawberry oat fudge ice cream and received NOT ONE fudge piece. (Super sad).
100% not peachy enough for a peach ice cream.

I agree! Wouldn’t repurchase. I wish it had a stronger peach flavor I could barely taste it. And there definitely should be more crispy bits those were really good

I really liked it! I guess I went in with no expectations! I’ll probably buy a pint each trip until they’re gone for the season! But I definitely don’t disagree with your review! An expectation of a peach cobbler like ice cream makes sense now that I’ve seen your review! 🍦
Not worthy of being called peach ice cream
This is the best ice cream TJ’s has ever had. The description is accurate and it would be disgusting if it was all peach. The swirl is perfect and the oat crust is legit.
Too sweet … all I tasted was sugar
Much better stats than the new Wildberry ice cream 💯
8.5 – I really liked this ice cream – a lot! But I’m glad I knew beforehand that there were no peach pieces, otherwise my rating would be much lower.
This deserves 10/10
