Turkish Apricots: 6.5/10
Unfortunately, the apricots in the bag were too hit or miss to give a higher score than 6.5. Some apricots were super sweet and flavorful, while some were leathery and had little to no flavor. The sweeter ones tasted almost like butterscotch. These were a great snack to try on Whole30, but didn’t end up being my absolute favorite. I preferred the normal dried apricots Trader Joe’s also sells, to these Turkish apricots (both are from Turkey). The bag is $4.49.
Have you tried these yet? What do you think?
I also like the extra choice apricots better.
I prefer the huge bag from Costco. SOOOOO good.
Agreed! I keep buying them but end up disappointed that some are juicy and delicious and others blah.
Pretty accurate review 🤗
I like that they dont have sulfates, it is really hard to find them without. So I love them( but I also cook with the. Instead of snacking) so that might make a difference too
Please get the pecan Kringle!! I need to know if it’s worth it 😁
I like the little single serve packs best 🙂
I really like these. The ones with preservatives will always be a bit softer, but I am okay with the texture. If you’re looking for softer dried mangoes without preservatives, Thrive Market has good ones!
What ever happened to the slab apricots? Loved those
Do you remember when they had frozen apricots? So good
It’s not like they can control the flavor of an apricot lol. Flavor varies with fresh fruit
@traderjoes @traderjoesfoodreviews when are you going to stop wrapping everything in single use plastic? Including your produce? 🌎😥
