Harissa Chicken: 8/10
Trader Joe’s Harissa Chicken is a relatively new marinated chicken that I was excited to try – I definitely like their marinated thighs better than the marinated breasts and have been waiting for a new chicken that can compete with the shawarma! These Harissa Chicken Thighs are delicious and marinated in tomato paste, dried red pepper, herbs, paprika, cumin, and garlic, with a touch of citrus to make these thighs slightly sweet and not too spicy. On a spice level, I would say they are more mild. I really enjoyed the unique flavor and spiciness level and will be buying this product again in the future. Bake at 400 for 40 minutes for perfectly cooked chicken thighs. It is $4.99 a pound.
Have you tried it yet? What do you think?
Perfect flavors ❤️😍
@dliza21 next one to try
Good to know spice is mild because the jar of Harissa is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I will try these!🤩👍
Haven’t tried these but have had the shawarma ones multiple times!!! SO good!!! If you have tried both which one do you think is better??
Soooooo good
They were good, but anyone else think they were a little salty??
Ooooh – one more thing @traderjoesfoodreviews I wanted to buy the schwarma but my TJ was out 😢😢😢 so I also bought the herb rubbed to try also.
Made this for the first time last night, and it’s seriously one of the best things I’ve had! 10/10 for me!!

Do you do aluminum foil or parchment paper? 🙂

The shawarma one is still queen in our house. This was good, but too heavy on the tomato flavor.
amazing in the oven or on the grill!!!!
