Truffle Marcona Almonds: 8/10
Trader Joe’s truffle products are always hit or miss for me. I love the White Truffle Chips whereas the Alfredo Sauce I am not a fan of at all. I was a little worried that these almond would have the shroomy “poor man’s truffle” flavor that I do not enjoy, but I was pleasantly surprised and I’m glad I picked these almonds up! Marcona Almonds are some of my favorite almonds because of how smooth, sweet, and soft they are. These definitely have a truffle kick to them, but I didn’t find them overpowering. They were a great level of saltiness whereas some of the marcona almonds I’ve had in the past have been too salty. Nuts are always a great snack to have around and have been one of my go to snacks during Whole30 so I’m glad I found another great flavor to put in my rotation! I have to say that they aren’t my favorite nut (I prefer the EBTB nut duo, chili lime cashews, and garlic onion pistachios) but will definitely pick these up again. Each bag is $5.99.
