Pesto Chicken Breast: 6.5/10
I was SO excited to try this because you all know how much I love Trader Joe’s marinated meats (especially the chicken shawarma), but there was something about this chicken that I did not LOVE. The meat was high quality which was great, but the marination tasted extremely acidic. It was far too tangy of a pesto for my taste. Unfortunately, I would not buy this again and just marinate my pesto chicken myself.

I agree. I thought it was too acidic when I made them for my family. I have to try the Shawarma next!
It was just okay to me too. Mixed it in with pasta sauce and spinach tortellini Wasn’t my fav dish…

Damn I bought this already
I ate it tonight for lunch. I thought it was pretty good but I also had it in fried rice and sriracha sauce. Lol overall not bad when I’m in a rush.
When we make this we buy the Zhoug and add it in the pan and on top. Tastes amazing with the pesto and gives it a serious kick 🌶

I completely agree! I couldn’t figure out what the overwhelming flavor was but it wasn’t pesto
ugh we tried it last night and the chicken was SOOOO rubbery, even following cooking instructions. it was disgusting and we threw it out. 😭
