Cinnamon Bun Cookies: 6/10
These Cinnamon Bun Cookies really do have a taste similar to those classic Cinnabon’s you get at the mall or airport. The flavor was pretty spot on, and the cookies were chewy and slightly soft. The texture reminded me of a chewy molasses cookie. I felt like they could’ve been even softer and a little less dry. Also, the cinnamon bun filling tasted like a cinnamon roll, but I felt myself wanting even more filling. I think these would be better dipped in warm apple cider to make them a little softer! A lot of my cookies in the box didn’t even have filling. Did this happen to anyone else? Each box contained 12 cookies for $2.99.

So true, one of the most disappointing items I’ve gotten there. They have all the makings of a classic too.

Honestly mine had very little filling as well but they were SUPER soft and not dry at all! I kind of liked how small they were as opposed to the sprinkle ones. I could have one and not feel super guilty. Maybe your batch was stale?

I saw that they were recalled because of quality issues. Supposedly, they had a gummy texture or something like that 😮 Unless, this is a new batch.

I had them last year and they were incredibly disappointing. Did they change from last year?
The “filling” on mine (what little there was on it) didn’t look like that at all. Definitely not creamy. I was expecting something more like the filling in the maple leaf cookies.
Even employees don’t like them.

I bought these last year. Someone who works at TJs told me to pop them in the microwave for a little bit to make them soft and gooey. That made them better.

We actually loved these. I could have went for a little more sugar bc they were a bit bitter.
