Spicy Honey Sauce: 7/10
🚨NEW ITEM🚨 I know what you all are dying to know: How does this hot honey compare to Mike’s? @mikeshothoney is the gold standard of hot honey to me. It’s a perfect balance of spicy and sweet with no components outshining the other. While this brand new #traderjoes spicy honey sauce was good, it didn’t come close to Mike’s for me. TJ’s version was too sweet for my taste and the vinegar was pretty powerful compared to Mike’s. While the ingredients are the same; honey, vinegar, and chili, I felt like the main thing I was wishing was better was the honey itself. Had it been less sweet and there was a little less vinegar, I would’ve like this more. I made the most amazing Hot Honey Chicken and Waffles for the second cookbook using this honey and it was amazing in the sauce! 😍 I can’t wait to order pizza and drizzle this on top too! Each bottle is $2.69.

I can’t find it but I am excited because mikes is too spicy for me so maybe this one will be just right!
what else would you eat this with if you don’t like chicken and waffles?
I thought that it was hot when I had taken the initial taste test of it. I didn’t put it on anything, just dabbed a little bit of it.

I 100%agree with this review. The honey wasn’t a good base. Mikes is way better
