Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies: 6/10
These cookies have gotten a lot of hype all over IG recently, so I was excited to give them a try. Unfortunately they fell short of my expectations. I am not GF, but have tried various GF cookies before and felt like this baking mix did not really have that warm, soft consistency I’d associate with a great cookie. I followed the directions perfectly on the box, and my cookies ended up flat and a tad grainy. The coconut sugar made them extremely sweet and was the main flavor of the cookie. I liked the mini chocolate chips but felt like this mix could’ve used more. If you make these, start off with way less milk than the box calls for so your batter doesn’t get too runny. I liked these enough to finish the batch I made, but would not choose these over other cookie baking mixes. These are also a vegan option which is definitely a benefit for those with that dietary need. It is $4.99 for the box.
Have you tried them yet? What do you think?
😍😍😍

I liked them mine came out thicker though . I also didn’t put the full amount of milk and I used melted butter instead of oil. They weren’t grainy at all to me.
These are hella good!!! 🤤
I added 2 tablespoons of milk instead of 3. Also being that it is an almond flour base you should let the batter sit for at least 10 minutes after you mix with wet ingredients.
I am not GF and this is my go to for an easy cookie. I always keep a box in the pantry. Add extra chocolate chips. I add some from @choczero and they are perfection.
Use one less tbs of both oil and milk! I also throw in a little coconut flour if I have it. Makes them fluffy and thicker
That’s weird, I’ve only made them once, but mine didn’t look like that.
The perils of GF
My family really likes these. We use oat milk. 8/10 for us ✨ 🍪
My absolutely favorite I replace the oil with apple sauce add walnuts and Omg heaven
I use less milk and add more chips 🙌
I tried making them from scratch without TJ’s and I failed. So they win at least in that aspect 😂
this is really good!!!!
I wonder if elevation had anything to do with it? I chilled dough first and mine were not spread out and nice and soft! I enjoyed them!
You can’t expect the same consistency as regular cookies from almond flour cookies. I eat keto and low carb so I’m used to it and I think they’re delicious, esp given the low carbs.
don’t use as much milk and they come out perfect
so good
I love these! I am gluten free though, but spent most of my life eating non gf, so I know what’s good (or not) gf food and what’s just good food. I agree, don’t use the full amount of milk. And I don’t know how to make them rise more, but I don’t think it’s possible based on the type of flour 🤷🏼♀️ bake them for one min less than the recommended time and they’re soft and delicious! I agree that they aren’t as good as a real chocolate chip cookie, but they’re a delicious and healthier alternative with a great flavor!
These cookies are SO SO good, and the clean ingredients are very hard to find for a mix. I never need the full amount of milk and add 1 tbsp at a time as the box suggests. Yum!
These are the best cookies. Yes they have a different texture – but they’re perfect to have in the pantry as a quick fresh baked cookie fix! Easy to gobble them up too! I usually add extra chips in there, such as white chocolate or sea salt caramel.
These cookies were incredibly underwhelming to me
Would this be paleo
I made these with avocado oil and they came out perfectly!! I added the milk 1 tbs at a time and used almond milk
