Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches: 8.5/10
Summer is in full swing with the temps hitting 100 the past few days in Denver 😱☀️ I’m all about having a sweet, melty treat every evening after dinner! These sublime ice cream sandwiches are two soft, chocolate chip cookies with a very thick slab of ice cream sandwiched in between. The ice cream sandwich is then rolled in mini chocolate chips giving it a delicious, crunchy texture. The vanilla ice cream itself is a very basic vanilla ice cream that I thought could’ve been a little more flavorful. Vanilla ice cream isn’t always worth it to me unless it’s extremely good vanilla ice cream with real vanilla bean. These ice cream sandwiches had potential to be a 10 if both the cookie and the ice cream were slightly richer and more decadent. For a 370 calorie ice cream sandwich, I would want it to be perfect for it to be my first choice in dessert. I’ve definitely had better ice cream sandwiches before, but these were still incredibly delicious for $4.49.
