Fruit Jellies: 8.5/10
The texture of these fruit jellies is unreal! They are very soft and squishy. The outside of each gummy is coated with a layer of sugar which adds a bonus sweetness to the already bold fruit flavor. The flavors are Orange, Mandarin, Raspberry, Blueberry, Lemon, and Grape and I loved them all, but noticed a strange aftertaste with some of the jellies. It tasted like the sugar cooked a tad too long, but I didn’t taste this with the majority of the jellies in the container. These fruit jellies are pâte de fruit which are known for their bold fruit flavors and jelly like consistency. They are definitely very sweet and I found that 1-2 satisfied my sweet tooth. It was very fun trying this new type of gummy, but I still prefer the Scandinavian swimmers and chewy licorice to these. Each container is $3.99.
