Creamy Toscano Cheese Soaked in Syrah: 9/10
Trader Joe’s has lots of Toscano cheese varieties including a cinnamon, Chardonnay, this Syrah Toscano, and a few more. So far this Toscano Cheese soaked in Syrah has been the most flavorful and memorable! Syrah is a dark skin grape that produces an incredibly full bodied and bold wine similar to merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon. Unlike the Chardonnay Toscano, you can really taste the wine in this cheese. The nutty, creamy flavor of the Toscano Cheese paired with the boldness of the wine creates a really unique cheese that would shine on a cheese board or melted into fondue. It is $9.99/lb.
